For the Good of the Game:

This program is conducted in order to take the hockey in Edmonton to the next level of promoting sportsmanship. The key objective of the program is to mould the player into a more polite, fun loving and more positively behaving individual. The Administrators will make all participants aware of the program. Parents and coaches must live in way as to be a role model for the players. The players will also do their best and have fun always. The referees will also play an important role in keeping fair play as the one and only objective. Many concerns about refereeing do not fall within the framework of ‘For the Good of the Game’. Disputes or objections concerning the conduct of referees which do not meet the above definition of ‘Unacceptable Behavior should be sent to the North Zone Referee’s Association. This is one of the great features of hockey in Edmonton.
